At Dentistry for Children and Adolescents, we believe in three simple but essential principles that guide everything we do. These commitments help us create a positive experience for your child while ensuring we deliver the best care possible. We kindly ask all our patients and families to embrace these principles as part of our partnership in your child’s dental health.

Commitment to Appointments

Save your Spot! Visits are by appointment only so we can give each child the time and attention they deserve. This allows us to minimize wait times, keep the schedule running smoothly, and ensure every patient gets the best care possible. It also helps us prioritize emergencies when they arise, so we can accommodate those in need without disrupting the care of others.

We work hard to stay on schedule and see your child at their appointed time—please help us keep things running smoothly by arriving on time, too. Schools count dental visits as excused absences. If you need a doctor’s note for the teacher, just let us know, and we’ll happily provide one!

Change of Plans? Let Us Know!

We get it—life happens! If sickness or an emergency keeps you from making it to your appointment, please call our office at least 48 hours in advance to let us know. We’ll do our best to find a new time that works better for you.

Heads up: we don’t accept cancellations by text, so make sure to call us directly to reschedule to avoid missed appointment fees.

Keep in mind, the best appointment slots fill up fast, especially with short notice. And just a quick note: if cancellations start becoming a habit, we may not be able to hold spots in advance. Thanks for helping us keep things running smoothly!

Commitment to Treatment

Starting treatment is a team effort, and completing it is just as important. Leaving treatment unfinished can lead to complications, bigger issues, and even more extensive care down the road.

When we create a treatment plan together, it’s designed with your child’s health in mind. Some plans may take time to complete, but staying committed to seeing it through ensures the best outcomes for your child’s smile and overall health.

Commitment to Financial Agreements

We’re dedicated to providing exceptional care and making dental treatment a worthwhile investment in your child’s health. Our fees reflect the expertise and specialized care we offer, and we make sure to clearly explain treatment costs and benefits upfront.

We trust our patients to fulfill their financial commitments promptly. Patient portions are due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay and offer financing options through Care Credit.

If your dental insurance allows us to accept payment for your benefits, we’re happy to assist you with processing the claim and charging you what your estimated patient portion will be. Please understand that, for us to help you with this, you must provide your dental insurance information with at least two weeks in advance of your appointment.
